About this tour

A number of adventurous trails have been developed on the plantation. During the nature hike you walk over old dams and past overgrown sluices. The pathways are hundreds of years old and were cut open by forced labor. The trail is about 3 km long. Tour of 1.5 km to 3 km long that lasts more than 2.30 hours through beautiful, untouched nature (Water lilies, water reeds, date palms that only occur in the right bank of the Commewijne – from Senegal in the 18th century-, verbena, mimosa species and mokko mokko plants). What is very special is that you can even build your own bridge out of bamboo. This is suitable for those who are fit and don’t mind getting wet, are in good shape and like adventure.
