The Story Museum North Commewijne welcomes you. The story museum is located in Plantation Frederiksdorp’s historic plantation house, which dates back to 1760, and features a collection of previously unrecorded stories from older and younger residents of Commewijneās right bank. In the museum, you wander through the past and present, through rich cultures and colorful traditions, and through long-kept secrets, hopes and dreams, thanks to more than a hundred personal stories and experiences. The stories are presented in a modern, colorful, and engaging way. The house has two layers and includes a museum room, library, photo gallery, reading chamber, and conference room, among other amenities.
